Christopher R. Griffin, a Miami-Dade County native, is a dedicated leader, mentor, and public servant with a lifelong commitment Christopher holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hofstra University, where he excelled as a student-athlete (football), and He currently serves as a firefighter with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and as a reservist in the U.S. Air Force, continuing his service Inspired by personal tragedy—having lost two family members to drowning—Christopher launched the E.A.T. Swim Scholarship Through his leadership, E.A.T. has launched programs in partnership with TD Bank, Miami-Dade Parks, and numerous community.
